Eyenuk Invited to Present at the American Optometric Association (AOA) TeleHealth Conference as AOA Assembles Industry Leaders to Set Future Guidance for Telehealth

May 11, 2020:  Amid the COVID-19 public health emergency, doctors are considering the use of telehealth-based care, as patients practice social distancing to avoid community spread. Prior to the current crisis, though, the AOA recognized the increasing role of telehealth-based care.

At the AOA Telehealth Conference, Eyenuk Chief Commercial Officer, Frank Cheng, shared Eyenuk’s perspective on how telemedicine and artificial intelligence can improve access, quality and efficiency of eye care during and post the COVID-19 pandemic.

Industry leaders representing other companies also presented at the meeting.  These companies included Alcon, CooperVision, Essilor, EyecareLive, Johnson & Johnson Vision, Versant Health and VSP.

Further details of the event is available on AOA website (link).

The American Optometric Association is the leading authority on quality care and an advocate for our nation’s health, representing more than 44,000 doctors of optometry (O.D.), optometric professionals and optometry students.
